Saturday was a beautiful day so we decided to ride uptown and view all the scarecrows from the contest for the fall festival! We invited our neighbors J P & Mary Ashton Barden to go along for the fun! Our favorite (of course) was from the "Russell Dental Group" so the kids decided to pose for pictures with it. This was so much fun and then afterward we went to Sonic for lunch and ice cream.
From Monogramming to custom painted items to sewing alterations, this is truly "A Family Affair". Let me know if there is anything we can do for you.

Fall break brought lots of fun when we were @ Chickasaw camping. Campers included Lora, Charlie & Trey Turner; Jaxon Byrd (with Trey);Mimi & Papa; Pam, Joe, Tessa, Weston, Joseph, A C, & Rooks Stephens; Jessica Lewis (with Tessa); A J, Lisa, Hunter & Anne Alise came for Saturday and Sunday; Ashleigh came for Saturday and Sunday; Liz & Jonathan Long came for the day on Sunday; Christy & Madison Byrd came for the day on Monday and Madison stayed the night and came home with me on Tuesday. The remaining Turners, Jaxon and the Stephens stayed on until Wednesday.
We had a great time of bicycling, hiking, 4-wheelin, visiting, campfires, SMORES, and eatin, eatin, eatin!!!!!
The kids always have a blast being able to freely ride their bikes and play - make new friends - just go from sun up to sun down!!!
The weather was beautiful! What a way to spend fall break!

Our 1st Blog! Welcome!
Things have been really busy for us lately. This summer we sold our house and bought across town on Cannon Drive. This house is not much bigger but just in a much better neighborhood. We live on a Dead end street and Trey is loving being able to ride his bike. He hits the street the minute we pull in the driveway. There are also several other children his age that he is able to play with and they play so well together.
Trey is in the 3rd grade and is doing Great. He made the 2nd honor roll the 1st six weeks so we are excited about that. He has a wonderful teacher - Mrs Linda Norvell - she is very structured and strict - and we don't have a problem about either of those!!! He is playing soccer right now and plays the goalie position.
The weather is cooling down so we will hopefully gets lots of camping weekends in. We love camping @ Chickasaw State Park in Henderson, TN - biking, walking, resting and ... eating!!!!!
More later!
Lora
