Another broken arm

Friday, June 27th, while playing hide and seek with the neighborhood children, Trey decided to climb over our privacy fence instead of going through the gate to get to the front yard and wound up with another break on his right arm. Ashleigh was babysitting him and several others and called me at work. He could wiggle and twist his arm so we thought he was fine. When I got home, he was lying on the couch and started crying when I walked in. Once Charlie got home we decided it was time to visit the Emergency Room, so off to Jackson we went. We were seen immediately (much to my surprise since the waiting room was FULL) and was out of there within an hour. He got a temp. cast and was told to see West Tn Bone and Joint clinic the following week. On Tuesday, Mimi took him to see Dr. Smith and got a nice GREEN cast.

He is going to Centri-Kid childrens camp in Talladega, AL this weekend and then has a week in Panama City with the Johnsons so we are hoping to get a waterproof cast on Wednesday - Please Dr. Smith. haha

Branson 2008

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Branson the week of June 8th. We celebrated Ashleigh's birthday on the 8th while we were there as well as Father's Day on the 15th. We have a beautiful time share with Marriot and this year we requested to have pool view so we could walk right out our patio into the swimming area. That was a life saver, especially for the kids. Trey invited Hunter Johnson to go along so they stayed really busy doing things together. The timeshare offered several activities each day for the children so one day we took advantage of the painting crafts and doing tie dye shirts. They really had fun.

Mimi and Papa came for a couple of days so we enjoyed Celebration City and the fireworks/lazer display one day, the Presley's Jubilee and relaxing in the time share one day(due to rain).

Once they left we headed for the White Water park and played ALL day. From one slide to the other; from The Wave pool to The Lazy River Pool - they boys were wiped out by the end of the day and crashed very early that night. (thank goodness)

We enjoyed the Branson Landing (Downtown Branson) which has been totally redone. They have a fantastic laser/fire/water show on the lake at the top of every hour and more shops than you can name to walk to. It is so beautiful there. A nice way to end the day just strolling shop to shop. I highly recommend going there if possible.

Ashleigh was very excited about seeing the Haygood's since her Show Choir group had opened for them once when she was in High School. She could have stayed there forever. They really have a wonderful show and it was lots of fun!

For our last night we decided at the last minute to see "Noah - The Musical" at the new Sight and Sound Theatre there. It was FANTASTIC!!! It truly took my breath away - another highly recommended thing to do in Branson.

Hopefully lots of good memories were made. It was a good week had by all. (Except the speeding ticket Charlie got on the way home - oops - Sorry Charlie!!!)
